"Al llarg de les darreres hores hem conegut que Rússia, amb l'ajut de Bielorússia, ha iniciat un atac militar a gran escala contra Ucraïna. Condemnem fermament el recurs a l'agressió militar com a instrument per dirimir disputes territorials, que és contrari al Dret internacional i als drets humans, i manifestem la necessitat d'abordar i resoldre els problemes polítics des dels principis democràtics, el diàleg i el respecte als pobles i les minories.
Ens solidaritzem amb el poble d'Ucraïna, tot reclamant de nou que la via diplomàtica i del diàleg és la que ha de prevaldre en tot moment en les relacions internacionals i la convivència entre pobles".
Comunicat de la Xarxa Vives d'Universitats sobre la Guerra a Ucraïna
"Davant de l’agressió militar contra Ucraïna per part de Rússia i els seus aliats, la Xarxa Vives d'Universitats ratifica el compromís de les universitats a favor de la pau i el rebuig a la guerra. Condemnem, una vegada més, qualsevol expressió de violència i ens refermem en la defensa dels valors del diàleg en democràcia com a única via per a trobar solucions als conflictes polítics, territorials i socials.
"Davant de l’agressió militar contra Ucraïna per part de Rússia i els seus aliats, la Xarxa Vives d'Universitats ratifica el compromís de les universitats a favor de la pau i el rebuig a la guerra. Condemnem, una vegada més, qualsevol expressió de violència i ens refermem en la defensa dels valors del diàleg en democràcia com a única via per a trobar solucions als conflictes polítics, territorials i socials.
Ens adherim al posicionament de l’Associació Europea d’Universitats per expressar la nostra solidaritat amb les 26 institucions d’ensenyament superior i recerca d’Ucraïna, i oferim tot el suport que estigui al nostre abast davant d’aquesta situació.
La Xarxa Vives d’Universitats està totalment compromesa amb la pau i la cooperació, i espera la reflexió, la moderació i un ràpid final a aquest conflicte bèl·lic. Confia en la mediació de l’Organització de les Nacions Unides perquè aviat es restableixi la pau a Ucraïna sobre els fonaments dels valors democràtics.
Comunicat de condemna de la invasió d'Ucraïna per part de l'Estat rus de la Crue
Crue Universitats Espanyoles vol traslladar tot el seu suport i solidaritat a les institucions acadèmiques d'Ucraïna, les seves comunitats universitàries i a la població d'aquest país en aquests difícils moments.
Res és més contrari a l'esperit de la Universitat que la violència. Condemnem fermament l'agressió iniciada per l'Estat rus i demanem que la diplomàcia torni a ocupar el lloc que li correspon com a via de resolució d'un conflicte que, de no aturar-se immediatament, pot desatendre unes conseqüències inimaginables.
Les universitats espanyoles col·laboraran i cooperaran, a través de les seves xarxes acadèmiques i de relacions institucionals, en tot el que sigui possible per reconduir una situació que mai s'hauria d'haver produït".

Press release from the Catalan Association of Public Universities on the situation in Ukraine
"Over the last few hours, we have learned that Russia, with the help of Belarus, has launched a large-scale military attack on Ukraine. We strongly condemn the use of military aggression as an instrument to resolve territorial disputes, which is contrary to international law and human rights, and we express the need to address and resolve political problems by means of democratic principles, dialogue and respect for peoples and minorities.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, reaffirming that the path of diplomacy and dialogue must prevail at all times in international relations and coexistence between peoples. "

"In the face of military aggression against Ukraine by Russia and its allies, the Vives Universities Network ratifies the commitment of universities to peace and rejection of war. We condemn, once again, any expression of violence and we reaffirm our defense of the values of dialogue in democracy as the only way to find solutions to political, territorial and social conflicts.
We support the position of the European Association of Universities in expressing our solidarity with the 26 institutions of higher education and research in Ukraine, and we offer all the support that is available to us in the face of this situation.
The Xarxa Vives d’Universitats is fully committed to peace and cooperation, and looks forward to reflection, moderation and a speedy end to this war. We rely on the mediation by the United Nations so that peace can soon be restored in Ukraine on the foundations of democratic values.

Crue Spanish Universities want to transfer all their support and solidarity to the academic institutions of Ukraine, their university communities and the population of this country in these difficult times.
Nothing is more contrary to the spirit of the University than violence. We strongly condemn the aggression initiated by the Russian state and call for diplomacy to return to its rightful place as a means of resolving a conflict which, if not stopped immediately, could have unimaginable consequences.
Spanish universities will collaborate and cooperate, through their academic networks and institutional relations, in everything possible to redirect a situation that should never have happened. "
